Overview:

A new and the only example of 17th century Ottoman Garden epitomize nature and symbolizes of paradise to the Ottomans. The Bakewell Ottoman Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden provides a beautiful setting for peaceful contemplation of the history of East-West dialog-, and perhaps a place to start new dialogs today.

Other unique park attributes:

Reflecting pool, covered portico, wall fountains, sun dial, bird houses.

A distinctive image, character and theming of 17th century Ottoman architecture.

As lead designer, architect, manager Fazil Sutcu led overall master planning and design and guided the look and character for the setting of all project elements including Garden, Orangery, Walls, Architectural elements and ornaments from start through project completion.
